Don’t forget, ‘big is bad’ here. Shouldn’t a company which supposedly sells perpetual-motion machines to Fortune-50 enterprises be more popular than that? And just look at what an expert conman, who does not even have a perpetual-motion machine to sell , can achieve:

If one was to have asked oneself, as a theoretical question, what sort of politician Ron would naturally cleave to, the answer was really quite obvious: An Oafish Demagogue!

Sock Puppets

Ideotic is not the only crank who is trying to mislead Parliament. Many of the other submissions are from shills of the unspeakable Rossi, who has already served jail-time for ecology-related fraud, or of ‘Blacklight Power’ Mills who conned millions of dollars out of US utility companies. Let us hope that the UK Parliament is not equally stupid.

Higher Order Partial Differential Equation

August 17, 2016

Thanks for this remark. Note 355(4) has boiled things down to a solution of a higher order partial differential equation (6) and a couple of simple equations (5) and (13). The aim should be to find a stable solution for Eq. (6) for realistic boundary conditions. Eq. (6) does not look too terrible and Horst has already found some good solutions.”

Why is it proving so difficult nowadays to fiddle the figures provide theoretical backup for perpetual-motion machines, and why are the devices becoming more unstable? Time was when you and your gang could offer closed-form mathematical explanations for ‘Dr’ Bearden’s Motionless Electromagnetic Generator. It supposedly produced a steady output which was greater than the input. And what about those gadgets that Hill-of-Beans supposedly sells to famous companies out of a Mexican hovel? They must be reliable mustn’t they? How many types of perpetual-motion machine does the world need anyway? We wonder what Kambe thinks of the use to which you are putting his equations. We shall have to ask him.

Stephen Crothers’ Chapter.

August 17, 2016

Many thanks, I am sure that this is an excellent chapter as usual, and a much needed criticism of meaningless dogma. I am forwarding to Horst to merge into the rest of PECE as chapter nine. Unfortunately my system cannot read this format but I will proof read carefully after it is merged as chapter nine and sent back to me. It is already a very popular book and Stephen is by now world famous.”

Here is a touching story: S.Crothers, aka the Public Defective, is involved in a heart-warming bromance with a hard-rock pop-star,

And the two of them can discuss physics on an equal level! Who’s your Daddy?

FOR POSTING: Commons Select Committee Accepts Energy from Spacetime (ES)

August 16, 2016

A House of Commons select committee has accepted evidence from Osamu Ide concerning his circuit designs, which take energy from spacetime and UFT311 by Horst Eckardt amd Kurt Arenhold. This source of energy cannot be depleted and the process is completely free of pollution. The Committee has also accepted ECE as a valid theory of physics and new energy engineering.”

Now we are wondering why Ron is so proud of this. A cursory perusal of the other submissions reveals that a considerable number are from other cold-fusion/LENR loonies and conmen. This always happens when an organisation invites suggestions from all-comers. It happened some years ago with the General Electric Ecomagination competition. A very large proportion of the entries proposed classic perpetual motion machines (such as a windmill-on-a-truck which could be driven around if there was no wind!) and silly ‘energy-harvesting’ schemes such as putting wind-turbines in railway tunnels or rollers in roads. Such schemes are not – strictly speaking – contrary to the laws of physics. However, they do not really produce ‘new energy’; they simply purloin energy that somebody else has paid for. Ron’s crooked friend John Searl tried very hard to screw money out of GE. This attempt was seriously impaired by an international group of very nasty skeptics which harried him at every turn. Sounds familiar, Ron?

A Whole New Chapter!

The Committee has also accepted ECE as a valid theory of physics and new energy engineering. This is a great sea change in attitude which has taken place in the past decade or so, and coincides with a huge amount of international interest in ECE theory. So congratulations to all concerned, and to all staffs of AIAS and UPITEC. Steve Bannister’s excellent Ph. D. Thesis ably describes the revolutionary impact of ES.”

Our author-friend is ‘hoping-against-hope’ that at least some of this may be true. But given the nature of its source, we do not hold out much hope. Nevertheless it would be delightfully embarrassing if the government actually threw money at Ide, in the same way that it threw money at Roger Shawyer and Peter Searl  (John Searl’s brother). Of course, Shawyer’s company is now massively in debt and Searl’s company closed down as soon as it got the £40000 hand-out (the quango which handed it out was then itself closed down … one wonders why).  Ron has certainly learned from his hero (and the hero of all pseudoscientific conmen), Nikola Tesla. Tesla routinely told fantastic lies to journalists … and people today still believe them. So Ron feels quite empowered to tell lies in turn: Bannister makes absolutely no mention of energy from spacetime: if he had done, he would not have got a doctorate, not even in Utah (a state founded on the ‘principles’ of a religious maniac and financial conman). Bannister sometimes mentions space and time in the same sentence, but only in the conventional (separated) sense. He of course mentions ‘energy’ very frequently, but nowhere is there the slightest hint of a belief  in alternative crackpot sources. Did you not in fact read the thesis that you put your name to as a panelist? Or do you really think that you can just say anything, and people will trust you? Still, keep on this Ide governmental track and there is a much-improved chance that you will lose your pension when it all blows up.

Summary by Gareth Evans

August 12, 2016″

FOR POSTING: Ph. D. Dissertation of Dr. Stephen Bannister, University of Utah

August 12, 2016″

Excellent! So now our author-friend has a copy of a letter from a former County Council ‘expert’, written to a sitting AM charged with handling energy-matters, which praises all manner of perpetual-motion crackpots and conmen. And, as a bonus, he also has a copy of a letter from an American ‘Professor’ of Economics (albeit one in Utah) which is admiring of an incompetent Japanese ‘engineer’ who has been hawking his supposed ‘over-unity’ device around for over 20 years.  Note the implacable arrogance of these people: they are so deluded (to the point of mental illness in some cases) that they will happily trundle over a precipice, and into a pit of public ridicule, without even noticing. Do they even need a push?

And here is the drivel in question:

Our opinion is that anyone associated with this deceptive document should be condemned as attempting to perpetrate a fraud on the UK Government and its scientifically naive politicians.

PS: it is quite informative to go to:

Osamu Ide Submission Accepted

August 12, 2016

Congratulations in turn to Osamu Ide, presumably the Westminster Government has read UFT311, which matches the circuit perfectly with ECE theory. Congress in Washington has been looking in to LENR, so there is progress all round. As a reasonable member of the Government in Wales, Co President Gareth Evans can presumably bring this matter up in the next Clean Air Forum. As a Member of the Gentry and a Bevanite socialist I am not prepared to recognize UKIP, or ever work with it in any way, so I hope that all here can steer clear of them and work for its elimination. As a U. S. citizen I know that Washington is not happy with UKIP because of their far right, destabilizing activities, and not happy with the panicky withdrawal from the European Union. There is a great deal of severe criticism of the Assembly’s fixation with wind turbines.”

Our author-friend hopes very much that this is true about Ideotic; it will help to make his book (about ‘bad physics in high places’) a sure-fire best-seller. He already thought that he was ‘on a winner’ with the UK government’s funding of the fatuous Shawyer Emdrive, not to mention the invitation from the House of Lords to have perpetual-motion conman Stanley Meyer explain to that august body his ‘car that ran on water’ (don’t laugh: that bunch of scientific thickoes once debated the existence of flying-saucers!). But Shawyer’s development company is already essentially bankrupt, and Meyer was indicted for fraud (and then died) before he could make it to the House, so those cases lack immediate currency. How nice it will be to have a new and embarrassing pseudoscientific fiasco brewing around publication time. How delightful it will be to see the only Civil-List Scientist, a ‘scientific adviser’ to a County Council and ‘Gari’ (a sometime government spook) outed as pseudoscientific imbeciles.

Electoral Dictatorship

August 11, 2016

On past experience the minister will ignore my e mail in a process of electoral dictatorship, which is why I call for a referendum in Gwy^r or Gower. This would have wind turbines stopped and those on Betws demolished. The old form of rule by my ancestor Gruffudd Arglwydd Gw^yr was democratic (Gruffudd Lord of Gower). If he ignored his People he would have been overthrown very quickly. The e mail from yourself was the first time I had ever received any kind of reply from an M. P. or A. M. for Gw^yr. So I am giving the Assembly valuable information on new energy. If it ignores that it will be unconscionable neglect, we will land up in a junkyard and the benefits of new energy will be taken up by other countries. As a minister for health you must be aware that wind turbines are harmful to health.”

Do you even understand how democracy works, Ron?  It gives the majority what it wants; not necessarily what you want. At the moment, 48% of the population is unhappy with the Brexit result; and that was the fault of your precious referendum method! Just imagine what it would be like if stupid people (those with IQ’s less than the national average) were allowed to vote on every governmental problem. To get technical about elections in general: it has been known for over 300 years that an election involving 3 or more candidates cannot guarantee a result that truly reflects the preferences of the voting population. It has been known for over 50 years that there is no voting system at all which can avoid the latter problem … apart from a dictatorship. And those are mathematical proofs, Ron, imagine that. You would have to imagine, Ron, because you will not even have heard of the branch of mathematics that is required for the second proof.

Discussion of UFT355

August 9, 2016

UFT168 – UFT170 discussed some aspects of the Poynting Theorem for gravitation and vacuum fields, my first step will be to apply it with vacuum or aether charge / current density in conventional electrodynamics, the proceed to fluid electrodynamics. I agree that for an AB vacuum there are only vacuum potentials adn no fields. In that case conservation of energy and momentum can be developed with particle like theory for example. We did this some time ago in the ECE2 series. I refer readers to the popular Eckardt Lindstrom papers UFT291 to UFT299 for an extensive discussion. The question of whether Poynting applies to fields or potentials can be answered simply by developing the fields as potentials. A Poynting Theorem can also be developed for fluid dynamics, using Kambe’s version of the Lorentz force equation for a test particle in a fluid field. I don’t think there is any competent scientist or engineer who continues to object to energy from spacetime (ES) as “perpetual motion”. Such an objection would reveal a total ignorance of vacuum physics. It would mean for example that there is no Lamb shift, no anomalous g factor of elementary particles, no Casimir effect, and of course no ES.

On the contrary: it is only the incompetent so-called engineers such as Valone, Puthoff, Bearden, Hill, etc., who say that energy can be extracted from spacetime. The energy is generally supposed (by real scientists) to be in the form of virtual particles; the associated mass would otherwise be detectable (m = E/c^2). Even the ueber-imaginative Robert Forward did not think that nett energy could be extracted. The fundamental problem is that ‘vacuum energy’ is everywhere; not just in vacua per se. Trying to exploit any source of energy involves having it flow from place to place. Therefore, trying to extract spacetime energy is rather like trying to extract potential energy from a swimming-pool by building a dam across the middle, with the same height of water on each side. Becalmed old-time sailors noticed that isolated groups of ships were nevertheless forced together by a mysterious (non-wind, non-current) force. That force was a macroscopic analogue of the Casimir force. They could have exploited that grouping-motion, but it would still have been just a ‘one-off’. That is another characteristic of a genuine energy-source, Ron, it has to be cyclic. On the subject of the Casimir Effect, a cursory inspection of your simplistic ‘argument by analogy’ calculations seems to suggest to us that the latter will not yield the correct (i.e. experimentally observed) power-law relationship for plate/plate attraction. Still, we are willing to be corrected. Perhaps you could hire a mathematician or a physicist to check that out.

Ancestry Back to the Iron Age

August 6, 2016

This is the ancestry of various cousins and myself back to the iron age, via Tewdwr Mawr and Bleddyn ap Maenarch. Many of the Princes and Kings of Ancient Britain are ancestral cousins as shown in the genealogy onwww.aias.us, together with various saints back to St. Eurgain ferch Caradog ap Bran ap Llyr. She was the daughter of Caradog (King Caratacus) and established the very first Christian community in the British Isles near Llan Iltud Fawr in about 50 or 60 A. D. She had two brothers, Lleyn (Pope St. Linus, the first Bishop of Rome, preceding St. Peter) and my direct ancestor, Cyllin ap Caradog, born about 35 A. D. They were directly influenced by St. Paul in Rome, who was of course directly influenced by historical events in the middle east.”

We wonder, thinking about this, whether your repellent nature is the result of upbringing or is inherited from distant ancestors. We have this vision of an ancient iron-smelter in your line, stoking the fires and telling anyone who would listen, “Oh yes, I invented fire”. Are you also trying to rewrite religious history as well? The Catholic Church is under the impression that Linus succeeded Peter and, since they invented the overall myth, they get to choose the details; not you!

Updated Marquis SciEng Entry 2016 / 2017

August 6, 2016

This is my thirty third entry in “Marquis Who’s Who” since 1999. Marquis was founded in Chicago in 1899 and is the world’s leading reference vehicle. For example it lists the President, Supreme Court and Congress. It lists my nominations for the major prizes: the Nobel Prize, Wolf Prize, Priestley Medal, various Medals of the Royal Society and so on. These are like Oscar Nominations, as good as the award itself because there are so many excellent scientists. I am deeply indebted to international nominators and supporters. The entry lists my world record number of Fellowships, and when it comes to publications it just mentions “numerous”. There are about 1900 at present (attached list of most prolific authors). I have also been nominated for a knighthood, and this came through , effectively, in 2008, when I won my coat of arms and became a Member of the Gentry of Wales.”

Whatever it was originally intended to be, Marquis is now just a vanity publication. You should be more blatant, and tell them outright that you have a knighthood, Nobel Prize, etc.; they will not check. Don’t be so retiring: you are not slow to tell everyone that you are a Lord, and that is also untrue. You cannot compete with real scientists, but you can compete with the other crackpots listed by Marquis, such as ‘Dr’ Bearden, ‘Dr’ Valone and ‘Professor’ Searl!

Ticking the Last Box

August 5, 2016

We have a well-supported theory which posits that, if one finds a crackpot who believes in perpetual-motion, he will also be found to be a believer in antigravity, quack cancer-cures and death-rays. We thought that the last one was missing from Ron’s repertoire but … what is this:

http://cyberspaceorbit.com/CBJD/text/weathmod.txt

Note: as well as being the inventor of the Motionless Electromagnetic Generator (a perpetual-motion machine ‘confirmed’ by most of the ‘scientists’ of AIAS), Bearden also believes that the Japanese Mafia controls the weather.

Bentham Invitation

August 5, 2016

This is a random e mail which should not use the Treasury address in London. I will politely decline the invitation because AIAS Publishing is already far more effective and powerful.”

No, what you should state is that YOU should not use that address … because YOU have absolutely no right to do so. We have long been encouraging friends to request off-prints of that perpetual-motion paper which you somehow foisted on Physica B, and they were all rather annoyed when no off-prints arrived. Perhaps you should send a stack of them to HM, so that her bean-counters will be able to satisfy demand.

Most Recent ECE2 Papers Doing Very Well

August 1, 2016

The top five ECE2 papers to date for July 2016 are as follows (number of times read every year from combined sites www.aias.us and www.upitec.org ).

1) UFT346 2180
2) UFT349 1577
3) UFT345 1499
4) UFT318 1402
5) UFT325 1207

UFT345 and UFT346 are papers on the general theory of precession, and UFT349 is the first paper on fluid electrodynamics. The second and third papers on fluid electrodynamics, UFT351 and UFT352, are also being read intensely. Therefore these papers are each almost as popular as the classic UFT88 written in 2007. That is currently being read 2336 times times a year off combined sites. This means an accelerating interest in the individual ECE and ECE2 papers. There are now well over five hundred ECE and ECE2 papers in English and Spanish, and ALL of them are read continuously around the world. There are no longer any objections to them. The early “pseudocritics” have obviously disappeared from the stage of avant garde science. The dogmatists continue to behave as if nothing has happened – that is why they are dogmatists.”

Can you not see how ridiculous this all is, and that it is getting more silly with passing time? It is almost a decade since the ‘classic’ paper and nobody who matters has cited it, nothing has changed and nobody even bothers to object any more, simply because it is well known to be utter nonsense. The ‘dogmatists’ act as if nothing has happened for the simple reason that … nothing has happened.

August 1, 2016

I accept the invitation from the Right Hono(u)rable Co President of AIAS from Llwyndafydd. I could do no worse than the present powers that be.”

You do realize don’t you, Sewage, that all of this nonsense is going into a book which will be read by real people? The rate-payers of Ceredigion may not be able to detect pseudoscience for themselves, but they can be made to recognize that their cash has been spent on a second third tenth-rate ‘science’ officer who believes in perpetual motion.
