Defamatory Wikipedia Article on ECE Being Ignored

January 11, 2017

The wildly defamatory and pejorative wikipedia article on ECE has been ignored completely for a few years.”

It is not defamatory. It is perfectly accurate and truthful, although it would be better if it were considerably more censorious of crackpots. The ‘talk’ part of the article is making it, thanks to recent additions (nothing to do with us), more up-to-date. One addition points out that you previously called the Laithwaite ‘result’ an artefact. Are you feeling well?

“Its referrals are by now completely static.”

That is due entirely to your being forgotten by anybody who matters. It is further proof in fact that your ‘scientometrics’ are completely bogus. Nobody is interested in you. Even we are interested only in getting you stripped of your undeserved Civil-List status. Thanks for your increasing help in achieving that aim.

“The colleagues worldwide have realized for twelve years or more that it dishonestly tried to distort Cartan geometry and was a personal diatribe, a vicious attempt at character assassination. ”

Nobody has a problem with Cartan; every mathematician has a problem with your mathematical errors. We were despairing of ever being able to explain these errors to laymen, but you have now short-circuited that problem by subscribing publicly to the ‘gyroscope levitation’ nonsense, which any intelligent layman can see through. That is quite enough to damn you.

“It dishonestly tried to distort my career and I had the entry on myself removed as being wildly defamatory and pejorative. It has been found to be defamatory by Cohen Davies specialist internet solicitors.”

To which aspects are you referring? It is a matter of documented fact that a UNCC student complained that you smelt bad. You tried to persecute that student, but your superiors took his side and you presumably resigned ‘in a huff’. Is that true or not?

“In consequence the academic reputation of Wikipedia, such as it was, has been badly damaged. It is well known throughout the world that there is intense academic interest in our work at AIAS / UPITEC, (UFT307 and filtered statistics on www.aias.us and www.upitec.org) so our reputation cannot be stronger. ”

Wiki does not aspire to academic excellence, so that is a straw-man argument. The only ‘proofs’ of interest in you are your own ‘scientometrics’. You cannot name a single reputable scientist who uses your nonsense theory. Your books receive only highly negative reviews; why do none of your supposed supporters praise them? Your reputation was already non-existent, and your new pursuit of antigravity-gyroscope nonsense is going to make you even more a darling of the lunatic fringe. Thanks for that; our work here will soon be done.

“The AIAS / UPITEC team and I have just been nominated for a total of twenty four gold and silver medals of the Institute of Physics.”

Shhh, don’t let anybody know that you nominated yourselves!

“Our famous distance teaching of ECE and ECE2 reaches the best universities in the world. Our new scientometric methods show this conclusively and are also well known throughout the world of science. ”

Translation: 2% of the random hits on your sites are from academic users. Is that really meaningful? You are unknown to science, except as a has-been chemist and vaguely amusing wannabe physicist

“Our work is based on meticulous scholarship, my work is checked in all detail by Drs. Horst Eckardt and Douglas Lindstrom – every single note. ”

Your work is entirely pseudoscientific, and is rubber-stamped by other pseudoscientists who are notorious fans of perpetual-motion. You all undermine respect for, and weaken trust in, academic qualifications.

“We use computer algebra to eliminate human error wherever possible. The success of ECE and ECE2 is based on a combination of standard, well known geometry, and computer algebra.”

Computer algebra is no more able to detect a nonsense theory, than a spellchecker is able to judge the sanity of a writer.

“If defamed colleagues in the U. S. wish to sue wikipedia for punitive damages, using a contingency lawyer and class action, they would stand a good chance of success.”

They would be more likely to draw the attention of newspapermen to their loony ideas and to hard questions being asked about the hiring practices of their present or past employers.

“I am a U. S. dual citizen. ”

Have you checked that recently with the US State Department?

“I regard such conduct with aristocratic disdain, being a member of the Gentry. Wikipedia even tried to defame the College of Arms, by questioning the fact that I am an Armiger. The College of Arms has been around a lot longer than Wikipedia so would regard it with contempt. ”

One of our correspondents has checked all of those claims and has shown them to be blatant lies on your part.

“Queen Elizabeth would not be amused, she appointed me Civil List Pensioner in 2005. The Queen never replies to petty minded malice. ”

The Queen is no physicist, but she can probably be made to understand that one of her civil-list pensioners is heaping ridicule on that accolade.

“So in the famous words of Prof. Emeritus Alwyn van der Merwe, the Wikipedia article “reeks with egregious malice” – it is a cheap troll site when it comes to ECE.”

The words of someone who ruined the academic reputation of the journal of which he was editor, and was dismissed as a result.

“Many universities do not allow citation of Wikipedia in examinations and similar.”

Not allowed to cite valid references which Wiki has cited? Rubbish.

He complains about the truth and calls it defamation. He would not know truth if it was delivered by an elephant who sat on his doorstep. Yet it is OK for him to defame others. He has consistently defamed his local County Councillor, even during election times. To defame any candidate, at any level, during an election period is a CRIMINAL offence not a civil matter. So he has committed a criminal offence. Please broadcast this to al,l including those who so farcically asked the Palace to give him an honour, which for a person who has committed a criminal offence, he brought disgrace on what the Palace was mislead to give him.
