This looks like a good system and could be developed for Section 3 of UFT368. For Sections 1 and 2 I am thinking of developing UFT270 for the symmetric top with one point fixed. Both methods combined should give plenty of interesting results with which to compare with the experimental data by Laithwaite and Shipov.”

Hey, Siemens Stain, rather than applying computer algebra to Lagrange’s solution why not start right from the Euler equations. That would permit you to model any conceivable situation in rotational dynamics and go far beyond the handful that permit closed-form solution. It has been done before, of course, but rarely. We are just curious to know whether you are capable of independent thought and action.
